So...Tired....

I got to go to day care today. It was awesome. I ran around all day with other dogs. How cool is that?

I got home and my people were getting ready to go run without me. Somehow I forgot that I was exhausted and asked to go with them (OK, I forced myself on them). The obliged.

After a couple miles, I was wiped. By mile 5, I could barely keep up. It was awesome.

I'm going to sleep now.

Late night run

Tonight mommy and daddy took me for a 4 mile run. I was kinda crazy tonight. I kept barking for them to play with me and to wear me out. They sucked, so I was bad (that sometimes works in my favor, so I was willing to take the gamble). Sure enough, they took me for a run.

Bunny season

Its spring! Which means the bunnies are out. We have bunnies all around our house. I chase them. I usually don't catch them (I did once, but that is a story for another day), but I have fun anyway.

So today, the bunnies were all around our deck. They were even under it. I scraped at the deck trying to get at them. I'd bark. I'd run inside and outside. I was just going crazy thinking of all those bunnies! This made mommy and daddy mad.

So finally, at about 5:00, after daddy finished watching the basketball game, mommy convinced daddy to take me on a run. We ran 5 miles. It was awesome. I saw our bunnies when I left, and even more bunnies along the way. It was so cool.

Running with new people!

So my mommy took me to this place called the vet. It was kinda cool when everyone was giving me attention at first, but then this guy in a white coat came in. He was scary. I didn't like him, even though he kept giving me treats.

After we were done, mommy took me running. About a half-mile in, we met up with daddy and some other people running. We ran with them for like another mile. It was AWESOME! I lead the entire way. But then Mommy and I turned around and daddy and the other runners went on.

We finished with 3 miles. It was cold.

So I was all comfortable tonight and getting ready for bed and then I saw daddy and mommy getting dressed to go running. I had a suspicion that they weren't going to take me. And even though I was ready for bed, I wanted to go. So I cried. That always works. It was great. I love to run.

My first Blog Entry.

My name is Pavlov. My dad calls me Bell. I am a 2 year-old Chocolate Lab. I am a runner. This blog will be about my runs.

Today my dad took me for a 5 mile run. Here is a picture of us. I was a little mad at him earlier this morning, as he left running with one of his friends at about 7:30 this morning. Momma left at about 9:00, and they came running home about about 11:30 or so. Dad then took me for my run. Apparently he ran something called a "marathon" today. I want to do one of those some day.
